my dear silver moon

Sylvan25thmy dear silver moon
by Jessica Brothers

You hold a quarter-century of stories
Within a century-old soul,
My dear

Clear and brilliant,
Your eyes have seen
Many wonders

And still
Many more fortunes
Will be revealed

Hidden gems
Become visible
Under the full moon light,
Illuminating your horizon

Agate and emerald,
Coral, sapphire, and gold
All the beauty of the stars

The sun rises
And fresh, spring blossoms
Travel across
A brilliant blue sea
