succulents: a lovely splash of perfect

I can’t get over the intricate textures, colors, and contours of desert succulents. They make for such perfect still life displays and are (almost) always ready for a picture perfect moment. One of these days I’m going to learn the art of watercolor and craft up a whole drawing library of wildflowers, succulents, and little nature creatures! My porch is currently a makeshift succulent retreat. I tend to move the plants around regularly to recoup from the recent over abundance of sun — so, it’s always a different scene, with new textures and contours to bewitch and hypnotize the gazer. 😀

  2. Thanks much for sharing these images. You have some beautiful plants. I’m just starting to grow succulents and only have a few right now. I love looking at them.

    • Yay! Thanks for looking and liking. I love looking at them too…probably too much. And growing them is definitely a good way to practice improving my green thumb! Their needs and care is unlike any other plant I’ve cared for… 🙂 Best to you!
